The FPSC Difference

We believe that appearance, format and course delivery methods have a lot to do with how well individuals actually absorb and retain important information. We strive to create interesting and appealing training materials industry workers can actively use while on the job. So how do we do it?

Quality Training Content: All FPSC products endure a rigorous development phase, with direct input from industry stakeholders and subject experts to confirm that the products truly meet the training needs of employers. Products are then validated across Canada, by members of the food and beverage processing industry, to ensure the best and most relevant content.

Easy & Practical: FPSC products are designed to be practical and easy for workers to learn from and use on a daily basis. Industry stakeholders have played a large role in the development of our training materials; therefore we have created realistic and useable products that are meant to be used within a processing facility. From the classroom to the plant floor, students are given reference tools to reinforce what they have learnt!

Interesting & Appealing: We believe that students need to first find the course content appealing in order to become interested and to remain engaged in the topic. The FPSC has a firm belief that lively and dynamic course materials can positively influence the learning experience of students. Everyone has a different style of learning. The FPSC recognizes and caters to every type of student by providing a variety of multilingual training tools/ resources; which has proven to be one of the most effective training methods. Course materials can include: pictures, posters, handouts, magnets, pocket cards, workbooks, class exercises, videos and much more!
